She is the Founder and Chief of Strategy and Creative of HUE, a boutique progressive communications consultancy that specializes in multilingual and culturally competent communications services for organizations throughout the African diaspora. Her consultancy supports non-profit organizations, collectives, and movements throughout the African diaspora to build impactful communications campaigns centered on narrative and storytelling.

We, The People’s Process is a documentary directed and produced by Jamila Aisha Brown to be released in 2024. The film chronicles the organizing efforts of advocates from the People’s Coalition for Safety and Freedom (PCSF) to repeal and replace the 1994 Crime Bill. The project centers the voices of formerly incarcerated and system impacted to find alternative solutions to policing and prisons that invest in community.
